Friday 18th March – bike **** – Two river, the Orwell to the Deben – sunny and mild.

The fantastic sunny, warm weather continues with only a breeze from the east taking the edge of the temperature on the seafront but in the garden, it was really warm, so did my exercises in the back garden. Then I cleaned the ground floor windows as they were covered in red dust from the Sahara! Had lunch outside before setting off on my bike in the afternoon, Mag was busy in the garden so stayed at home:( I did the short two rivers route heading down through Langer Park with not a cloud in the sky arriving at the dock view point which was all action, the heavy plant are still busy reinstating the beach, a large dredger is working in the channel and the lorry ferry entered and I spent several minutes on the old jetty taking pics:) I then carried on through Landguard Nature Reserve and back onto the prom with a slight east breeze in the face taking the edge off the temperature. Round to The Dip and onto the peaceful Felixstowe Ferry where I stop in the boat yard for my snack before taking the road home.
We learned last night that my son and Grandson are coming for the weekend:) I was planning to head over to the River Stour at Bradfield but will now stay closer to home and once again go to Levington early which is much closer so I can get home much quicker!
